The Aaron A. Hofmann Resident Award is an incredible opportunity for residents to gain podium experience. Our previous winners have gone on to present and win at AAHKS!

The top 5 winners will need to print their posters and display them in the exhibitor hallway. The top winner will receive $1,000, the opportunity to present their Abstract on the podium, and an invite to our Faculty dinner.

Applicants are also eligible to apply to receive a scholarship. This form is not registration. You must be registered and attending the meeting to receive your award.


2024 Winner

Congratulations to Christine Wu, MD for winning the 2024 Aaron A. Hofmann Resident Award with her paper titled, "Unsuspected Positive Intraoperative Cultures in Aseptic Revision Knee Arthroplasty - Prevalence, Management, and Infection-Free Survivorship". Her paper was selected out of over 45 submissions!

Congratulations to Aleksander Mika, MD for winning the 2023 Aaron A. Hofmann Resident Award with his paper titled, "Synovial Barium and Zirconium Ions are Promising Markers for Aseptic Loosening."
